ASCA A-Ch. Bainbridges Bound to Please, ASCA/AKC CD, RN, JS-N, CGC, TDI - "Kylie"

2009 ASCA Nationals/Greeley, CO  9.24 - 10.3.09

Next stop, Greeley!  I'm very excited to go to just my 2nd ASCA Nationals.

Full report when I return!

Rock River Valley ASC Show 9.12 - 9.13.09

Another set of outdoor shows ...  my first since my bilateral mastectomy at the end

of July.  Great show site at Kathy Schwengel's farm in Saukville, WI.  Kylie took A-BOB

under breeder judges Summer Jewel Fuls and Emmy Adasiewicz on Saturday with

 some nice competition.

Upper Midwest ASC Show 7.25 - 7.26.09

It's always fun to be able to show in town.  This was an outdoor show with pretty decent

weather despite a couple short showers on Saturday.  Kylie took A-BOB at all four

shows although there was only one class bitch and one class dog.  Thanks to judges

Lori Acierto, Marilyn Lindsay Miller, David Clayton and Linda Eilks.

Rock River Valley ASC Show 7.10.09

Kylie got to celebrate her 6th birthday at this show.  I brought a special cake made with

cupcakes in the shape of a bone!  It wasn't too hot but I was having problems with running.

Not surprising since I had just finished chemo on July 8.  Kylie took A-BOB under judge

Steve Pfeiffer and A-BOS under judge Linda Eilks.  (No pictures taken).

ASC of Michigan Show 7.3 - 7.5.09

It was a long drive but worth the trip!  Kylie took A-BOB and Tripper took BOB at the Friday night show under judge Pam Moore.  Saturday they repeated their two-fer and respectively each took Breed under judge Cheryl Padgett.  Kylie then took A-BOS under judge Amy Burnette Saturday afternoon and judge Delores Gidday Sunday morning.  Weekend point total:  24  Not bad!!

ASCA Merit Point total for just June and July so far: 48!  This is almost as many points

she accumulated from June to December of last year.  Good girlie!

We even got a lovely movement shot.  Thanks to John Beal Photography!

ASC of Michigan Show 5.22 - 5.25.09

The weekend didn't start off too well ... we missed the Friday night show due to traffic

in Chicago.  Then Kylie only took A-BOS at the Saturday morning show and my poor little

girl was sick before and after the Sunday morning show.  But she took A-BOB at the rest

of the shows!  Not a lot of points, but hopefully it will keep her in the Top 10 this year...

The tally for the weekend:  A-BOS under judge James Thiele, A-BOB under judge Sandy

Rees, A-BOB under judge Sue Sellers Rose and A-BOB under judge Wayne Cavanaugh.

The best comment of the weekend?  Sandy Rees said Kylie was "a lovely bitch!"

Rock River Valley ASC Show 5.15 - 5.17.09

Kylie swept the A-BOB ring -- she took Best of Breed in all four shows!

Thank you judges Mary Quam, Lynn Hamon, Clarissa Shank, and Wendy Finsterwald!

She also got her JS-N this weekend!  What a proud momma!

Rock River Valley ASC Show 3.20 - 3.22.09

In 4 shows, Kylie took an A-BOB under Stephanie Shop-McDaniel and a A-BOS under

Kristin Rush against some nice competition, and upped her merit point total to 86!

Good job Kylie girl!

Upper Midwest ASC Spring Classic Show 3.6 - 3.8-09

Kylie took A-BOB 3 times in 4 shows under Joel Samaha, Randy Miller, and ASCA Breeder

Judge Libby Graham (pictured). Not a lot of points, but it puts her at 59 for the year so far.

Upper Midwest ASC Aussie Dazzle Show 12.13.08

Kylie took A-BOB again over 5 class dogs/bitches and a bitch special under Senior

ASCA Breeder Judge Liz Gibson!  Kylie is now at 49 conformation merit points

 (and climbing, hopefully!)

On The Horizon ASC Show 12.6.08

Kylie took A-BOB again under AKC judge Sulie Greendale-Paveza!  (No picture taken).

Minnesota ASC Shows 11.1 to 11.2.08

Kylie took A-BOB at both shows this weekend under judges Deb Wilkins (shown) and

 Sharon Danley - good job!

Rock River Valley ASC Shows 10.18 to 10.19.08

Kylie took A-BOS at all three shows entered under ASCA Senior Breeder judge Gail

Karamalegos (shown), and Jan Mattson and even got her picture taken with her

Best of Breed 'little brother' Tripper under judge Mary Hopkins (shown).  And although we

didn't qualify, we took our very first ASCA agility jumpers run.  Man, that girl can go!

She was having so much fun I think she just forgot I was out there with her!

Outback ASC Shows 8.22 and 8.24.08

Back to the DiamondAire farm again ... an A-BOS win under judge Lori Acierto and an

A-BOB win under judge Mary Quam brings Kylie to 21 merit points for the new ASCA

conformation merit year.  I'd like us to get in the top 30 again this year - we have a good start!

Outback ASC Shows 6.07 to 6.08.08

After taking the winter and spring off from the altered breed ring, Kylie came back in style

with A-BOB wins under judges Marlies Noll and Letty Afong and an A-BOS win under

judge Eileen Gonyea at her favorite show site.

Upper Midwest ASC Show 10.14.07, Minnesota ASC Show 11.4.07

Kylie took A-BOS under judge Joe Droel on 10.14 and A-BOS under judge Janet Goin

on 11.4. To date, she has 33 Best of Breed and 21 Best of Opposite wins in the altered ring.

Congratulations Kylie-Doodle!

Outback ASC Shows 8.24 to 8.26.07

One of Kylie's favorite places to show is Marie Murphy's farm at OASC's semi-annual shows.

When we make the turn off Highway 35 and head up the hill, she invariably starts whining

because she knows it means all kinds of good smells, sights, and sounds. I believe she's

really a farm dog at heart. Kylie seemed to be having fun in the ring again, and it showed.

She took A-BOB at all three shows, thanks to judges Carol Ann Hartnagle, Sharon Rowe,

and Michael Ryan.   My little girl is back and lookin' good...

Upper Midwest ASC Shows 7.28 to 7.29.07

Kylie got a nice 2 1/2 month break from the show ring and came back in style.

She took Best of Opposite on Saturday under judge Patty Wirries, then took Best of

Opposite again on Sunday under judge Audie Howe.  Man, it was hot that weekend!

Rock River Valley ASC Show 5.12.07

Kylie takes Best of Breed in a large show with five specials under judge Tina Burks in what

turned out to be her last show weekend for a while.  After an incredible 29 Best of Breed and

17 Best Of Opposite Sex wins in only three years, I'm going to give her a much-needed break

from the show ring and let her have fun in agility this summer.

Upper Midwest ASC Show 4.29.07

Not a large number of dogs, but Kylie moved beautifully for me this day.

Thank you judge Virginia Altman.

Rock River Valley ASC Show 3.16.07

Kylie goes A-BOB under judge Sandy Rees for 14 points - that will definitely help

her merit point total.

Upper Midwest ASC Show 3.16.07

Kylie finishes her ASCA CD at an Upper Midwest ASC show.  Thank you judges Gary and

 Chuckie Gatz!

On The Border ASF Shows 2.17 and 2.18.07

Kylie goes A-BOB in some tough competition at all three shows we entered.  Thank you

judges Nikki Marenbach-Hengy, Heather Herron, and Jane Howard.

Minnesota ASC Show 2.04.07

Kylie goes A-BOB at both shows.  Thank you judges Jean Peterson and Mary Moran.

Upper Midwest ASC Shows 1.13 and 1.14.07

Kylie gets an A-BOB and two A-BOS wins in three shows.  Thank you to judges Susan

Peterson, Marilyn Rew, and Leslie Jeszewski.

Land O' Lakes Kennel Club AKC Shows 1.06 and 1.07.07

She did it.  Kylie completed her AKC CD by qualifing for her second and third legs.
