Kylie is my first Aussie.  She will forever hold a special place in my heart.

 People comment that Kylie and I seem to have an extraordinary connection and she's

 incredibly sensitive to my emotions.  She is a wonderful companion, smart as a whip, and constantly makes me laugh. I jokingly tell people she inherited a "Golden Retriever gene"

 since she's one of the friendliest Aussies around - hardly the breed standard of "reserved

 towards strangers'.  

Before bringing Kylie into my life, I knew nothing of conformation or competitive

 obedience.  We've come a long way since ... she's now an ASCA Altered Champion, holds

 a Companion Dog title in both AKC and ASCA, as well has a Rally Novice and Canine Good

 Citizen award from the American Kennel Club and a Therapy Dog International certification

 from TDI.  We're just getting started and are hoping to add more obedience titles in the

 future as well as in agility and herding.

I am forever in debt to Paula McDermid of Bainbridge Australian Shepherds for entrusting
